Dimitrios Zbainos, Associate Professor

Dimitris Zbainos is an assistant professor at Harokopio University in Athens. He graduated the Pedagogic department of University of Thrace and continued his studies at a postgraduate level at the Institute of education, University of London, (Diploma in Education, M.A. in Psychology of Education) where he was awarded a PhD. He has taught in primary schools, in the Department of Psychology of the University of Crete, and in postgraduate courses in the School of Philosophy of University of Athens. He has numerous publications in Greek and international scientific journals and conferences, while he has been a reviewer in reputable scientific journals, such as Frontiers in Psychology and PAIR. In addition, he has been Secretary General of the International Association for Cognitive Education and Psychology (IACEP). He is a co-founder of the European Network for Psycoeducational Assessment Intervention and Rehabilitation (ENPAIR). His research interests include themes in Psychology of Education, Assessment and Curricula, namely Creativity, Giftedness, the cultivation and evaluation of cognitive skills as well teaching and assessment in the whole range of formal and non-formal education.
