Dimitra Kanellopoulou, Assistant Professor

Dimitra Kanellopoulou is an architect-engineer (NTUA) with a master degree on urban planning (ENPC, Paris) and a Ph.D on urban geography (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne). She actually holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris-Malaquais. She lectures in various institutions of higher education in France and in Greece. She is member of the research laboratory LIAT and an associate member of the UMR 8504 Géographie-cités. Her research focuses on soft mobility issues, public spaces’ planning, tourism imaginaries and practices. In 2018, she founds Politopia (www.politopia.eu), a consultancy firm on urban walking policies and public space’s design.
